In all cases, don’t worry, you won’t have to do anything particularly complex and you won’t have to spend a single cent: these are totally free (at least basic) solutions.

Then? May I know what are you still doing standing there? Position yourself comfortably, take a few minutes of free time just for yourself, and immediately begin to concentrate on reading what is reported below. I’m sure that, in the end, you will be able to tell yourself very happy and satisfied that you have finally succeeded in your intent. How about we bet?

Mirror photo flip app

Are you looking for apps to flip mirror photos on your smartphone or tablet? Then you can turn to the solutions of this type that you find below, usable on both Android and iPhone / iPad. I sincerely hope they are able to satisfy you.

Snapseed (Android/iOS/iPad)

The first app to rotate photos by mirroring them that I think you should try is Snapseed. Haven’t you ever heard of it? Strange, she is very famous. In any case, there’s no problem, we’ll fix it right away: it’s an app from Google, which integrates numerous tools for editing and retouching photos and images. It’s super easy to use, free, and available for both Android and iOS/iPad.

To download and install Snapseed on your device, proceed as follows: if you are using Android, access the relevant section of the Play Store (or use an alternative store if your device does not integrate Google services) and press the Install button; if you are using iOS/iPadOS, access the relevant section of the App Store, press the Get button, then the Install button and authorize the download using Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.

Now start the app by selecting its icon that has been added to the home screen, then tap the (+) button located in the center, grant Snapseed permission to access your photos and select the image in the Snapseed gallery device you want to take action on.

Once the photo is open, select the Tools item located at the bottom of the screen and choose the Rotate tool from the menu that opens. In the new screen that appears, press the icon with the two triangles and the dotted line at the bottom to mirror the image horizontally and touch the tick button to save the changes.

Flip Image — Mirror Image (Android)

Another app to flip photos that you can consider using if what you’re using is an Android-based device is Flip Image — Mirror Image. It is a free solution that does only two things but does them great: mirror the photos, both vertically and horizontally, and rotate them. It allows both to intervene on single images and on multiple photos at a time, but in this second case, the function must be unlocked through in-app purchases (with prices starting from 6.49 euros).

To download and install Flip Image — Mirror Image, access the relevant section of the Play Store (or go to alternative stores ) and carry out the usual procedure, then start the app.

Now that you see the main screen of Flip Image — Mirror Image, grant the app the necessary permissions to access photos, multimedia content, and files on the device, then select the Select one Image to Flip (Free) item and choose the photo on which go to act.

At this point, touch the wording Flip Horizontal located at the bottom. To mirror the image horizontally, or Flip vertically, to mirror the photo vertically.

To save the changes made, press the button with the floppy disk icon located at the top right. Keep in mind that the modified image will overwrite the original one.

QuickFlip (iOS/iPadOS)

If you’re using an iOS/iPadOS -based device, QuickFlip is among the apps to shoot photos that I invite you to consider. It is a solution that allows you to mirror images horizontally and vertically with swipe “strokes” and it’s free. Note, however, that it offers in-app purchases (starting at €1.19) to support the developer’s work.

To download and install QuickFlip, go to the relevant section of the App Store and follow the usual procedure, then start the app.

Now that you are viewing the QuickFlip main screen, tap the camera button at the top. And grant permission to access the photos saved on the device. And select the image located in the iOS/iPadOS gallery you want interested in going to act.

After completing the above steps, swipe right or left, to mirror the image horizontally, or swipe up or down, to mirror it vertically.

Once the changes are complete, save your photo by tapping the Save item located at the top right. This will create a modified copy of the original image in the iOS/iPadOS gallery.

If this may interest you, I point out that by tapping on the circular button with squares at the bottom of the screen and selecting the QuickMirror item, you can access a function that allows you to create an extended mirrored version of the original photo, both in horizontally and vertically: to do this, tap on the arrows on the sides of the photo and confirm the changes made by pressing the Done item located at the top right.

Google Photos is unquestionably a great app for rotating photos when you need to rotate them. This is the app of the Google home service of the same name designed to perform an automatic online backup of images and videos in the device gallery. However, it also integrates photo editing tools. Which is why I decided to tell you about it in this guide. It’s for Android and iOS/iPad and can be downloaded and used for free unless you decide to switch to one of Google’s. One’s paid plans have more space for storing content (which is basically 15 GB).

In order to use Google Photos, if you are using Android. Start the app directly by selecting the relative icon that you find on the home screen and/or in the drawer. As it is pre-installed on most devices (otherwise. You can proceed with the download and installation from the relative section of the Play Store ). While you are using iOS/iPad.
